Shipping & Returns

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

While we hope that you love your order, we understand that sometimes you have second thoughts. We are able to offer a refund or exchange for item(s), providing that the garment is returned to us with in 14 days of the original dispatch date, unwashed and unworn, with all the original tags attached, and in the original packaging. Returns that are damaged or marked may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. 

How to return my purchase?

Please fill in and enclose the form attached to your order confirmation. Please email info@londonteadresscompany.com email to notify us of your return and send your purchase to The Old Stable, Knoll Road, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 2EN. We ask that you include the London Tea Dress Company Returns slip, with details of your return so that we can efficiently process your return at the studio. We would also recommend that you insure the package, and obtain a tracking number, as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages. Unidentified returns may also be returned to the sender. All purchases returned or exchanged from outside the UK must pay any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination and are the responsibility of the customer.

How to exchange my purchase?

Should you require an alternative item please return the original item for a refund (following the instructions above) and place a new order for the alternative.

Why don't you always offer free returns?

We thought about this, but most companies that offer this absorb the costs in other areas and we don't want to do that so we decided to keep things as transparent as possible by letting you know from the offset that it's our policy to charge for returns.

International orders

We don't offer international shipping via the website, however if you would like to enquire about overseas delivery, please drop us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Import Duty

If you order Goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Goods are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Please be advised that we reserve the right to deduct, from any refund due to the customer, the costs incurred by us for the return shipment of Goods refused by the customer at Customs in the destination country.
